The Ubiquiti EdgeRouter supports both connecting to VPNs and running a VPN server but only IPSEC VPNs have hardware acceleration. Even with hardware acceleration I haven't been able to get above 20Mb/s over a VPN to it though.
Jun 23, 2014 · The computer is getting a static from the Google router but the address we get from Google is not static. But I run a whatsmyip each time before attempting to VPN. The address ironically hasn't changed in the past couple weeks. There is a switch in between the router and the computer.
